Twistys holds a special place in my heart (and my pants, of course). It was the very first porn site I ever pulled my wallet out and joined, way back in the day. My hard drive continues to get filled with these phenomenal photos and videos, and no it never gets old. For a while, even, I developed what most would agree was an addiction to these pictures, replete with a highly advanced (imho) slideshow system for filling my eyes with these images.

All this might lead you to believe that my “review” will be awfully colored by my subjective obsession with Twistys.com. I won’t even try to pretend that I don’t REALLY like this site, because I do. I will, however, do my best to objectively steer you through the myriad features and benefits that a seasoned Twistys member like me can. There’s a lot to see and do, so let’s get started.

Upon joining, you’ll find yourself at the main homepage, which presents you with today’s update of 4 new photosets and 12 video clips. If you’re a collector, you can get in and out very efficiently because you can download the photosets as zipfiles with a single click, socking 4 new beauties (on average, 400 brand new photos… a DAY!) into your bulging Twistys collection. If you’re hurting for disk space or picky, you can click the thumbs to reveal a page of thumbnails.

A word about pickiness… if you’re turned on by amazingly sexy, fantasy women you only meet in your dreams, with legs for miles and perfectly (almost unbelievably) shaped asses and smoothly shaved (waxed is more like it) pussies, then I venture to suggest that you won’t turn down anything that Twistys offers. For me, there are NO UGLY chicks in this entire website. They’re all winners, seriously. I digress… back to the meat of what Twistys.com offers their members.

The homepage is truly a feature-rich launch pad for seeing the best of the best. Down the right side, you’re offered up-to-the-minute results of what all the other members think are the hottest girls, the highest rated photosets, the sexiest videos, and their latest hot babe discoveries. You could spend many, many hours (hell, days) just making your way through the top rated stuff.

The mechanism by which these things land on the “best of the best” listing is by Twistys’ simple and accurate ratings system. They’ve got this nifty slider gizmo, that you can click and drag up for ‘Hot’ and down for ‘Not.’ You can only vote once, and this ensures abusive voters don’t skew the results according to their own opinions. If only the American election system was this easy and accurate.

Also on the homepage is a teaser-style sneak peek at upcoming photosets. You get one image, a carefully selected pictures to tease the hell out of you and keep you coming back day after day for THAT girl, THAT set, or THAT video. Twistys.com updates EVERY SINGLE DAY… as in 365 DAYS A YEAR.

In the many years I’ve been in and out of their members area, I’ve never once been disappointed by a late or missing update. These people are professionals, and they take this site extremely seriously. Valuing customer feedback, I’ve always received replies to my email inquiries, from high level questions to the simplest of one-off queries.

Twistys.com has a fine-grained, efficient system for searching through their massive database of pictures and videos. With numerous pulldowns, which go way beyond the typical age, hair color, breast size to include what US state they’re from and their ethnicity, members have a great way of narrowing down their search results to what really floats their boats the most.

Too many options? You can browse the model directory alphabetically. If you choose to do this, you might want to consider calling out sick from work (for weeks) because this will take you a LONG time to see everything. There’s THAT much in here.

Dollar for dollar, there are few websites out there that offer a better value. You’ll want to stay a member for quite a while considering their aggressive update schedule, and the fact that immediately upon joining you have unlimited access and unlimited downloads is a key to the value of a Twistys.com membership.

As far as couples-friendliness goes, if you’re a man, I must warn you that your wife or girlfriend will need to have either a taste for fantasy photography of fantasy women, or a highly developed, rock solid sense of confidence in herself. Twistys is glamour photography, not amateur style or reality porn. These are flawless women, photographed wearing expensive outfits in exotic locations, probably a bit (but not overly) airbrushed, and without blemishes or ingrown hairs on their pussies. This type of “female perfection” is not reality… it is fantasy, and if your girlfriend or wife doesn’t fully subscribe to this notion, you might have some problematic discussions about “real women.”

Twisty’s is an ultra high-gloss, airbrushed, all-babes site that delivers quality content and reliable, daily updates. The site has over 1,700 models, 650,000+ photos, and 14,000+ video clips.

For such a massive site, Twisty’s is nicely laid out and fairly easy to navigate. The landing page has that day’s update, some sneak preview pics, and thumbs of the top rated photosets and videos. The updates page has an archive of the past 6 months’ worth of updates, so you’ll never miss a wanking opportunity. You can also navigate by photoset, videos, or the alphabetized model index.

Each photoset is thumbnailed for easy previewing, and paginated so you can jump ahead through the set. Clicking on a thumb takes you to a huge, high-res 1280×850-ish pic. From here, you can click ahead to any photo you like, or start a slideshow for a hands-free surfing experience.

The videos are available in both QuickTime and Windows Media, which is nice because I hate Windows file and prefer QuickTime. All videos are cut into easy-to-download clips, or you can download the full-length video. Since the quality and resolution of the videos are so good, the clips are huge and downloading will take a while.

Twisty’s has a very cool voting feature, which I love. You can vote on all video and photosets. The home page has a long list of the top 40 sets and videos, with handy links to each. It’s a great way to discover girls you might not have noticed before, especially in such a huge site.

Twisty’s has a lot of ‘amateur’ girls shot in ultra high-gloss sets. But there are lots of household names, too: Jelena Jensen, Sophie Sweet (a.k.a. Sophie Moone), Jana Cova, Crissy Morgan, Erica Campell (a.k.a. Erica Rose), Veronica Zemanova, Kyla Cole, Peach, . . . the list goes on.

So what do I think of Twistys? As far as quality goes, there’s really no comparison. The webmasters actually give a shit about delivering quality content and reliable updates. They invite all of their members to send along their input, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the webmasters’ inboxes are constantly flooded with member requests. The voting system shows that the members are highly active in the site.

The “thing” for me about Twistys is that it is what it is– high gloss, airbrushed, re-touched, fantasy photoshoots with fantasy girls. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course, but it’s really not my thing.

As for couple friendliness, I agree with Alain– from a woman’s perspective, you’ve got to be really REALLY self-confident to view the site and not feel like you’re losing your partner to the fantasy. Because– deny it all you want– it IS fantasy. Sitting here on a Sunday afternoon in my pajamas with no makeup on doesn’t help, I suppose

Overall, the quality and quantity for the money is excellent. Just keep in mind that Twisty’s is glossy babe porn, not amateur or reality porn.
