Okay, so this is sort of a toy review– a board game instead of a sex toy. Close enough.
I’m a huge fan of board games, so I was stoked when my best friend gave me 7 Deadly Sins for my birthday.
This is basically a spin on Trivial Pursuit, but of course with an erotic bent. The game is played almost the same as TP, with each player choosing a peg and working their way around the game board. Most of the playing squares are for trivia questions. But every so often, you’ll land on a token square. Each of the token squares are associated with a different one of the 7 deadly sins (vanity, envy, anger, sloth, greed, guttony, and of course lust).
When you land on a token square, you choose a sin card (as opposed to a trivia question card). You have to act out the sin to win the token (although you can decline to perform the sin). The first person to win all 7 tokens/sins is the winner.
The sins range from kind of lame, to a little sexy, to pretty damned funny. Some examples:
- Impersonate George W. Bush speaking out about how we should go after Iraq (love the left-leaning humor)
- Wear your underwear on the outside of your pants for the rest of the game (skid marks are funny, damn it)
- Allow the player on your right to give your shoulder an ink pen tattoo (lame)
- Allow other players to lick you wherever they want (now we’re talking)
